Building a community cannot be done without having people join, which means that we are more than just a little excited to be able to announce that we have a brand-new vendor coming onto our platform:
We are proud to introduce the stunning and beautifully made vegan handbags that are designed and created by Gunas New York. They combine everything that there is to love about vegan fashion. The fact that you can have a gorgeous piece of clothing or accessory, whilst still being able to feel good about the impact that it has on the environment.
Who are they?
An independent fashion brand, Gunas New York was created during 2009 by Sugandh G. Agrawal. Sugandh is not only a designer, but she is also someone who is an animal lover. Which is reflected in the beautiful pieces that she creates.
With an award winning design as well as a business background, Sugandh decided that she wanted to turn her back on the corporate world and instead think about creating her own brand of cruelty free fashion. A very different approach from the world of industrial design.
Based in New York, the mission of Gunas New York is that animals should never be a part of fashion. They have the ethos that whilst it is great to feel and look good, no other living beings should ever have to pay the price for that fashion.
Gunas New York: What is their mission?
It goes without saying that the brand mission for Gunas New York is to be a committed to being 100% vegan. They want to ensure that their products not only show that vegan fashion can be made to the highest standard, but that fashion in general can be manufactured and created in way that does not harm animals.
They believe that animals should never be seen as the property of humans and that humans should never bully or dominate other species on the planet. They see a world of peace and one of love, which means that they are the perfect fit for our platform.
